On today's episode Mr. Palumbo explains the historical background of the Declaration of Independence America's founding document.  By exploring the text of the document and sharing about the bedrock ideas from the Enlightenment, Mr. Palumbo encourages us to remember that our rights don't come from a government and we should continue to hold the truths shared in the Declaration as self evident and worth fighting for.
